During winter our bodies, metabolism changes and slows down. For the nourishment and continuous care of our body, Indian culture has emphasized on consumption of different types of nutritious / herbal rich foods. They typically contain some form of ingredients that are immunity builder, metabolism enhancer, body heat builder, and are commonly called Paak. 

Salam Paak is my favorite as it contains balance of 25 ingredients including nuts, herbs, fat(ghee) etc, and tastes amazing.

A herb called Salam is added to this Paak and it improves body immunity to fight recurrent infection. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, oils, protein and fiber.
